The Kagyu Monlam Organising Committee officially opens its new office in Kathmandu, Nepal

Today on April 12th, 2023, the Kagyu Monlam Organising Committee officially opened its new office in Kathmandu, Nepal in the premises of Sharminub Institute, (Monastery) the seat of His Holiness Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche. On this auspicious occasion, the program had the presence of Khenpo Karma Lekshey (President,) Khenpo Gyaltshen Sangpo (Principal Sharminub Institute,) Ven Lamas and staff of Duldaling and , Karma Raj Maha Vihara and the members of Kagyu Monlam in Nepal.

The Kagyu Monlam Office at Nepal is of great importance given that Nepal has so many monasteries and lay devotes affiliated to H.H. Karmapa and H.H. Shamar Rinpoche. During the Kagyu Monlam Chenmo, we have the highest number of participant from this region and hence it become imperative to have an office where these Monasteries and the lay devotees would be able to contact for all queries related to the Kagyu Monlam

A special lunch was organised by the Kagyu Monlam Committee on this occasion to all those present.
