Support to people affected by flood in Sikkim

In general, all over the world, disasters such as floods, earthquakes, heavy rains, storms, and fires has been causing damage to the inner and outer sphere of the Earth and sentient beings.

Recently, heavy rains and floods have caused severe damage to the sacred land of Sikkim, destroying farms, roads, houses, and other infrastructure. We are deeply saddened and concerned about the suffering of the people affected by this disaster.

In addition, the Kagyu Monlam Chenmo Trust has recognized the suffering of the people in the affected areas of North Sikkim including Mangang, Sankalan and has sent a team to express their condolences and provide support. The team has also been able to purchase and distribute food and supplies to the affected people. Kagyu Monlam Chenmo Trust deeply touched by this act of compassion and generosity, and pray that the people of the affected areas will soon recover from this disaster and rebuild their lives.

Similarly, in the world today, due to war, disease, and other forms of suffering, many innocent lives are being lost and destroyed. We pray that everyone will show compassion and support this cause.
